3rd workshop for GRID computing

KEK Computing Research Center organizes the 3rd workshop for GRID computing during November 21st and 22nd, 2005 at KEK.

This workshop series are held once a year since the year 2003. This time, we focus the deployment and operation experience for Data GRID middle ware, such as LCG. The detail of the workshop will be on the web page, https://www-conf.kek.jp/hepdg/.

Prior the workshop, we also organize the pre-workshop during 17th to 19th at KEK, working session for LCG deployment. The attendants will install the LCG middle ware at their own sites and make a virtual organization for testing it. Before actual work, we will have introduction and demonstration on LCG. People not only in LHC experiments, but also from other experiments, e.g. Belle and LC are welcome to join. The attendants are expected to have advanced UNIX operations skills. This event will be supported by ICEPP, University of Tokyo, also. Those who have interests to join the pre-workshop, please contact Takashi.Sasaki@kek.jp before October 27th.

We welcome people from various field, not only High Energy or Nuclear science. Please return your registration form until October 20th, 2005 if you want travel support.

Unfortunately, our budgets are limited and we can support limited number of people only this time. We will open on-site registration also for other people.

We request the registration fee 3,000 JPY a person. Please note that we only accept cash.
