“Realization of AdS vacua on generalized geometry”
フラックスコンパクト化の最も一般的な議論を、typeII弦を用いて展開する。コンパクト化される空間がHitchinのgeneralized geometryで記述されると、すべてのfluxの寄与を自然に導入することが可能となる。実現される超対称真空は、このコンパクト化で得られる4次元超重力理論のsuperpotentialの数学的構造を調べるだけで、反ド・ジッターか平坦かが選定される。また理論に制限を課す事で、RR fluxが内在しない模型や、Heterotic弦の配位などを考察する事が可能になる。

“2d black hole and FZZ duality”
2次元ブラックホール上の弦理論はSL(2)/U(1)模型で記述することができるが、この模型はその他にも特異的なCalabi-Yau多様体やNS5ブレーン近傍など様々な場面で用いられている。特に興味深い性質としてFateev-Zamolodchikov-Zamolodchikovによって提唱されたFZZ双対性があり、閉弦のタキオン凝縮によってブラックホールが生成することを表している。3次元AdS空間上の弦理論とLiouville理論の相関関数の間にある特殊な関係式を応用することで、FZZ双対性が導出できることを示す。

“Orbifold as Calabi--Yau manifold”
We try to understand heterotic string compactification on orbifold using the language of Calabi--Yau manifold. They are related by smoothening procedure called blowing-up, well described by toric geometry. Spectra, topological properties, consistency conditions are matched and phenomenological aspects are discussed.

“Kappa symmetric OSp(2|2) WZNW model”
We construct a kappa symmetric WZNWmodel for the OSp(2|2) supergroup, whose bosonic part is AdS3×S1 space. The field equation gives the chiral current conservation and the right/left factorization is shown after the kappa symmetry is fixed. The right-moving modes contain both bosons and fermions while the left-moving modes contain only bosons.

“The Kac-Moody Symmetries of Supergravity”
We establish a correspondence among the possible, on side, gaugings and deformations of maximal and half-maximal supergravity, on the other side certain generators of the associated very extended Kac-Moody algebras. A short introduction to these infinite dimensional Kac-Moody algebras will given.

“Perturbative interactions of multiple strings in type IIB matrix model”
We introduce the interactions of multiple strings in IIB matrix model. String worldsheets are constructed as the two dimensional background in IIB matrix model. The leading interaction of perturbative string is realized by the recombination of two strings. We reproduce this interaction from IIB matrix model and identify the string coupling g_s.

“Multiple M2-branes, Generalized Conformal Symmetry and SO(8)”
Recently there has been a remarkable progress in constructing N=8 supersymmetric 3-dimensional field theory with SO(8) R-symmetry by Bagger, Lambert and Gustavsson (BLG theory) which can be considered as the effective action of multiple M2-branes. And another very interesting proposal for N=6 multiple M2-branes was also made by Aharony, Bergman, Jafferis, Maldacena (ABJM theory). The SO(4) model of BLG theory has been known to be derived from ABJM theory, but Lorentzian BLG theory, the remaining part of BLG theory, has not. We clarified Lorentzian BLG theory could be derived from the ABJM theory by taking the scaling limit. And also we found the coordinate dependent couplings was allowed in Lorentzian BLG theory. This fact is important for understanding the conformal symmetry of multiple M2-branes. From the AdS/CFT point of view, we also studied the dual gravity analysis and we made a point that the gravity dual of Lorentzian BLG model was the probe branes in AdS space.

We explain the Y-formalism as a useful tool for quantizing systems with quadratic constraints such as pure spinor superstring and twistor theories. An application of the Y-formalism to curved beta-gamma systems is explicitly mentioned.

“Toward a Proof of Montonen-Olive Duality via Multiple M2-branes”
We derive 4-dimensional N=4 U(N) supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory from a 3-dimensional Chern-Simons-matter theory with product gauge group (U(N))^{2n}. The latter describes M2-branes probing an orbifold where a torus emerges in a scaling limit. Starting from one single Chern-Simons-matter theory, we find infinitely many equivalent 4-dimensional theories differing up to SL(2,Z) redefinition of the gauge coupling tau (= theta/2pi + 4pi i/g^2). This would provide a proof of the Montonen-Olive duality. However, because our tau is not generic, the S-transformation (tau -> -tau^{-1}) can be thought of as a parity transformation in 4 dimensions.

“AdS_3 geometry of heterotic supergraity with Killing spinors”
We analyze the Killing spinor equations of heterotic supergravity on $AdS_3 imes M_7$ type geometry with non-trivial flux. The Killing spinor equations and Bianchi identities imply all field equations. We also classify the geometries by using G-structures and it's torsion classes. The classification using G-structure is useful for constructing and analyzing new solutions.

“Non-relativistc limits of supersymmetric field theories & super Schrodingeralgebras
We discuss non-relativistic limits of the N=3 supersymmetric Chern-Simons matter system in 1+2 dimensions. The relativistic theory can generate several inequivalent super Schrodinger invariant theories, depending on the degrees of freedom we choose to retain in the non-relativistic limit. The maximally supersymmetric Schrodinger invariant theory is obtained by keeping all particle degrees of freedom. Non-relativistic limits of N=6 Chern-Simons matter system (mass-deformed ABJM model) are also discussed.

“Orbifolding the Membrane Action
最近、C^4/Z_k をプローブするM2ブレーン上の理論がAharony, Bergman, Jafferis, Maldacena らによって提唱された。この理論について、さらに Z_n の作用でオービフォールドした理論を提唱する。その理論のモジュライ空間を調べ、確かに(C^4/Z_k)/Z_n をM2ブレーンがプローブするという描像と一致していることを確かめる。

“Matrix Model and Higher-Dimensional Monopoles”

We revealed that there exist two types of monopoles, Yang monopole and nine-dimensional monopole in Itoyama-Tokura type USp matrix model. Monopoles' connections are obtained by non-Abelian Berry's phases. Five-dimensional analog of 't Hooft-Polyakov monopole was discussed by Tchrakian. The effective theory against Tchrakian monopole background has three-form field which may couple with 2+1-dimensional extended object. We evaluated matrix integral for unitary, unitary symplectic and orthogonal groups. We found correspondences between partition functions of orthogonal and symplectic groups. The action of Tchrakian model includes fourth power of gauge field strength. We also considered exact solutions, M_4 x S^6, AdS_4 x S^6, with non-trivial SO(6) gauge configurations in ten-dimensional SO(6) Einstein-Yang-Mills with quartic term. For the special values of coupling and radii, the gauge configuration attains the BPS minimum.

"Three generations and Phi(27) Higgs in noncompact Gepner model "
I will propose a noncompact Gepner model with four localized massless 27 of E6, one of which is identified as the Phi(27) Higgs multiplet. I will also report on the progress in computing Yukawa couplings.

"Creation of D9-brane--anti-D9-brane Pairs from Hagedorn Transition of Closed Strings"
Atick and Witten have proposed the Hagedorn transition of closed strings via condensation of winding tachyon. But we have not known the stable minimum of this tachyon potential yet. On the other hand, we have previously shown that a phase transition occurs near the Hagedorn temperature and D9-brane--anti-D9-brane pairs become stable. We present a conjecture that D9-brane--anti-D9-brane pairs are created by the Hagedorn transition of closed strings. We will show some circumstantial evidences for this conjecture.

"Vertex operator of Type IIB matrix model via calculation of disk amplitudes"
We give vertex operators of the type IIB(IKKT) matrix model by calculating disk amplitudes, exploiting the technique of the conformal field theory. Comparing to the previous method, we can check directly that the vertex operators of type IIB matrix model are given as the coupling of the closed string and the open strings, which are introduced by existence of D(-1)-branes. The vertex operators up to the order of the graviton and the part of the 4-th rank anti-symmeric tensor are rederived.

"行列模型における有効相互作用とオリエンティフォールディング"
行列模型は超弦理論の構成的定式化を与えるものと考えられており、時空点は行列の固有値によって与えられ、その相互作用はその他の成分の積分によって得られる。そこで時空点間の有効相互作用を行列模型を用いて計算し、同時にオリエンティフォールディングのを考えることによって、その結果への効果を調べる。
