A set of control and timing modules that provide a combination of finite state
machine (FSM) interface for the accelerator clock systems and RF resolution
timing have been developed. These modules provide external process control and
synchronization with accelerator events. Designed in both VMEbus and VXIbus
platforms, these devices provide an integrated timing resource. Various
distributed control systems at Fermilab utilize this resource. Such systems
include: Tevatron Damper System, Booster Damper System, Anti-proton Source
Beam Position Monitor Upgrade, Booster Low Level Upgrade, Main Ring Low Level
RF Upgrade, Booster Beam Position Monitor Upgrade, and the Fast Bunch
Integrator Upgrade.
