Workshop on Quantum Foundations: Measurement & Entanglement

Date: 10(Mon.) February 2020
Venue: High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) Kenkyu-Honkan conference room 1 Kobayashi Hall

(This workshop is supported by the US-Japan Science and Technology Cooperation Program.)

This international one-day workshop intends to bring together researchers working on the foundations of quantum mechanics, focusing on the weak value/weak measurement, quantum nonlocality/Bell's inequality and other related topics. Lively discussions among the specialists in the fields are expected, and those who are interested are strongly encouraged to attend at this rare opportunity.

Registration

To attend this workshop, please fill in the registration form. This form is common to the form for the workshop QMKEK7 to be held subsequently. If you have already registered for the workshop QMKEK7 and would like to participate in this workshop in addition, please send an e-mail to Yuichiro Mori (the form adminitrator) to change the registered information.
The deadline is 23rd January, 17:00 (JST).

A confirmation e-mail will be automatically sent to the registered e-mail address. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail within one hour after registration, please contact Yuichiro Mori (the form administrator).
After your registration, we will notify you how to enroll in the user support system (KRS) which is mandatory for all visitors to KEK, in which reservation of the on-site KEK dormitory and/or the application for financial support may be made (see below).

Attendance fee

200 yen for tea and confectionery

Accommodation

Please refer to this page to make your own hotel reservations. For those who wish to stay in the KEK dormitory, the reservation can only be made through the user support system (KRS). Note that the reservation can be possible only within the 45 days prior to the workshop. Being a busy season, an early reservation will be recommended.

Financial support

Upon request, your travel expenses may be supported within the realm of the budget. If you wish, please check the box of the financial support on the registration form.
