ACCOMMODATION
For the participants of this workshop, we recommend to book at
Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba:
http://www.okura-tsukuba.co.jp/
which are located in the central area of Tsukuba city. Actually this
home page provides you the reservation for two hotels, "Okura Frontier
Hotel Tsukuba" and "Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba Epochal". "Okura
Frontier Hotel Tsukuba" is adjacent to the "Tsukuba Center" bus
terminal, where direct buses from the Narita Airport and from the JR
(Japan Railways) Tokyo Station arrive.
"Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba Epochal" is about 800 meters south of the
bus terminal. In the case of capacity problem of "Okura Frontier Hotel
Tsukuba", you are booked in "Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba Epochal".
A daily shuttle service to KEK will be provided from both of hotels.
All the participants should make the hotel reservation through the form
in the web page of the hotel. The conference rate at 20% discount is
available, when you declare yourself as "the participants of ACAT03 at
KEK" in the comment.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
There is direct shuttle bus connecting between Narita airport and
Tsukuba center (it costs 2540 JPY).
A daily shuttle service to KEK will be provided from both of
"Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba" and "Okura Frontier Hotel Tsukuba Epochal".
There are also public bus service connecting Tsukuba center to KEK (430 JPY).

of train ticket, hotel etc., please mail to a private travel agency:

with e-mail subject including word "ACAT03". They will be able to
help you. The travel agency desk will be open at the Workshop Office
except for Tuesday 3rd of December.

REGISTRATION and OPENING SESSION
The registration of participants will be arranged on 1st December from
9:00 to 11:00 at the Workshop Office (Meeting room in the 1st floor
as the ground level of Building 3 of KEK).
The Opening Session of the Workshop will start at 11:00 in the Seminar
Hall of Building 3.

EQUIPMENTS FOR THE TALK PRESENTATIONS, INTERNET CONNECTIONS
Multimedia projectors for presentations with PC and overheads for
transparencies are available for oral presentations. A PC with Microsoft
Windows 2000 will be equipped for each parallel session for the
presentation with a file in PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint (ppt) format.
For other operating systems or files saved in other format, you can
present your talk with your own PC. Since we would like to check before
your talk whether your file is really suitable to our equipment, you are
asked to bring your file to the Workshop Office the day before your talk
on diskettes, USB disks or CD. In order to avoid troubles, please bring
also the file saved in the format of an older version of the software.
When your file includes special characters such as umlaut signs, Russian
characters, Chinese characters etc., it may cause problems. If your
talk is arranged on 1st December, please send your file to us through
e-mail :
acat03pr(at)corvus.kek.jp
by 27th November.
For the poster presentation you will have in your disposal in a A0 sheet
(1 square meter = 16 standard A4 sheets) of a board in the 1st floor of
Building 3. The materials can be hanged on starting from 2nd of
December and the poster session will continue three days (2nd, 3rd and
4th of December).
In the Workshop Office, several PCs and a number of wired and
wireless connections for mobile PCs will be available. Wireless
connections will be available in the lecture hall of each parallel
session. Wireless connection protocol is IEEE 802.11b (compatible with
most wireless adapters).

PAYMENTS
The registration fee is 30,000 JPY for participants and 15,000 JPY for
accompanying persons payable in cash at the time of your registration.
It includes a copy of the Proceedings, welcome party, coffee-breaks and
workshop banquet. Registration fee for students is 20,000 JPY.

The Organizing Committee room will be opened from 8.30 to 19.00.
