Authors : on behalf of Kedr collaboration Abstract : We have stydied the position resolution of the Liquid Krypton calorimeter with a collimated tagged photon beam in the photon energy region between 50 and 1500 MeV. The experiments were carried out in Novosibirsk BINP at the ROKK-1M facility, VEPP-4M collider. Photon coordinate is measured in the calorimeter strip structure near the photon convertion point. Two different reconsruction methods were used: modified center of gravity technique and a method based on neural networks. The spatial resolution of 0.8 mm (at 1 GeV) was obtained, that is much better than that for the crystal calorimeters. Both reconstruction alghorithms show approximately the same position resolution, but center of gravity technique needs applying complementary corrections depending on photon energy and particle coordinate. The results are in a good agreement with the Monte Carlo calculations. -------------------------------------------------- PS.
