Abstract : 
According to the standard model, if the mass of the Higgs boson is
low, the primary decay channel with a clear signature is H->gammma gamma.

The electron/photon trigger in the CMS experiment is used to select
energetic electrons and photons, and to reject background events. An
overview of the general design of photon reconstruction is given. The
handling of converted photons and rejection of neutral pions pose an
additional challenge to triggering and measuring. Topics related to
photon reconstruction are presented, such as an algorithm for track
building of the electron and the positron coming from the photon
conversion.
