Several major functions that are required for data acquisition software, collecting experiment data, saving the data, online monitoring and controlling, processing log messages, and so on. Their function are realized more efficiently by using KONOE. So far, the KONOE has been a toolkit to build a DAQ system under only local area networks, not global networks. The reason why it is not for global networks is the firewall at a connection point to the Internet for security. That is, the normal packets to transfer with user processes are blocked at that point. KONOE packets will also be blocked by firewall. To resolve the problem, the port-forwarding package has been developed. The package works like a gate which opens ports at the firewall. The KONOE packets can pass through the firewall with using this package easily and it is enable to use the DAQ system by KONOE under the global network.
