=============== Second Bulletin =============== The 7th International Symposium on Radiative Corrections "Application of Quantum Field Theory to Phenomenology" --- RADCOR2005 --- The 7th International Symposium on Radiative Corrections (RADCOR2005) will be held from 3(Monday) to 7(Friday) of October, 2005 at Shonan Village (Kanagawa), Japan. RADCOR2005 is the seventh symposium of the series and the first to be held in Asia, co-hosted by High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) and the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (Sokendai). Scientific Program Scientific Program Excursion ~~~~~~~~~ We plan to make a half day tour to an old capital of Japan, Kamakura. Talk proposal and Participation ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Talk proposals should be submitted through the RADCOR05 webpage. Attendance will be limited to about 100 participants. The participants are expected to obtain their own financial support for travel etc. Registration and Hotel reservation ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All participants are requested to register via the RADCOR05 webpage. The early registration fee of 20,000JPY applies for the participants who register by June 30 (Thur.) and it is 25,000JPY afterwards. The Banquet tickets for accompanying persons are available (8,000JPY/person). We booked rooms at the Shonan Village Center. Special conference rates are set 14,500JPY for a single room (type 1) and 12,800JPY for double occupation in a twin room (type 2). The daily rate covers lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner and conference facilities. Payment should be made by credit card for foreign participants and by bank transfer for domestic participants. We do not accept payment upon arrival. The payment and hotel reservation form is not ready yet, but it will be available from the webpage in about two weeks from now. Refund of the registration and hotel fee will be made for cancellation received by August 31 (Wen.) with less nominal handling charge. Visas ~~~~~ Those participants who need visa should apply to Japanese consulate in advance of your departure. If you need any official letters or other help to obtain a visa, please let us know as soon as possible. Site of Symposium ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shonan Village is located almost in the center of Miura Peninsula, Kanagawa, with its scenic views of Mt. Fuji. An old capital of Japan, Kamakura, is next to Shonan Village. It takes about 90 min. from Tokyo.
