Shin-ichi Kurokawa TaKurokawa-san received his Doctor of Science from the University of Tokyo. He started his career as an experimental high-energy physicist at KEK in 1973 with the construction of the secondary low-energy kaon and antiproton beam-lines. In 1981, he moved to Accelerator Department and worked on the control system of TRISTAN collider. He then led the KEKB project successfully and in 2001, became the General Head of Divisions of the KEK Accelerator Laboratory. He organized the first Asian Accelerator School as chairperson in 1999 in Beijing. Kurokawa-san chaired WAO2003 and brought many Asian colleagues to the workshop.dahiko was born in Kyoto on March 29, 1944. He graduated from the Physics Department of Tokyo Institute of Technology in1966. He received a Sc.D. in Physics from Graduate School of Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1972 and started working at KEK (National Laboratory for High Energy Physics). At KEK, he began the construction of the KEKPS (KEK Proton Synchrotron) control system. Since then, he has started the construction of TRISTAN accelerator control system in 1981 and of the KEKB accelerator control system in 1994. Tadahiko joined the J-PARC Integrated Control Group in 2003 and is now the group's leader. |
