Eiichi Takada Eiichi received his PHD in Physics from Kyoto University with an essential part of the graduate work on nuclear physics conducted at Texas A&M using their cyclotron in 1979 and 1980. After graduation, he first worked at Texas A&M and then at KEK for the University of Tokyo. Eiichi is the Accelerator Operation's Head of the HIMAC (Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba) and has been since 1995. He is in charge of the daily operation of the complex, which includes delivering medical beams during the day and allocating beam time for the night and weekend experiments. |
