HWDB, acronym of ¡®How We Do Business¡¯, is a starting point of the whole WAO. Indeed, the first operation workshop at JLAB spent its first day entirely for HWDB, to build common grounds among participants. In HWDB, we want to learn from each others many things from facility-mission and operator-numbers to shift-coordinating and work-tools such as logging and work-environment, from operator¡¯s training to involvement in maintenance, R&D etc., to carrier path and average years in operation etc. Topics are inevitably overlapping with other sessions in the workshop. Nevertheless, we want to have HWDB session to get an overview and thus to prepare ourselves better for the subsequent sessions of WAO10. We would like to encourage labs, especially from Asian and/or newly joining ones, to introduce their ways of business ? Accelerator Operation. Presenting HWDB with a poster in the poster session would be possible, too. |
