About ICALEPCS 2001
The eighth biennial
Conference will be held in
San Jose, California, from November 27 - 30, 2001 and is organized by
Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. The Conference will take place at the Fairmont
Hotel San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
The conference program will consist of invited and contributed talks,
poster sessions, seminars, round-table discussions, industrial
presentations, and post-conference workshops. Other conference
activities will include tours of SLAC..
All those involved worldwide in the field of controls and having an
interest in the challenging aspects relating to Experimental Physics are invited to
participate and to contribute.
Attendees from industrially emerging nations who would like
to apply for conference support should contact the Civilian
Research & Development Foundation for details and an online
application.
Topics
ICALEPCS 2001 will cover the fields of control and operation of
particle accelerators, detectors, telescopes, fusion devices, nuclear
reactors and other large experimental facilities. Both hardware and
software aspects of control systems will be addressed. The conference
