Workshop Site
All the workshop talks will be held at Ibaraki Quantum Beam Research Center (IQBRC). It is opposite side of the national road 245 from JAEA/J-PARC as shown in the map:
Access Information
There is a direct bus service connecting NRT Apt. and Tokai / Hitachinaka, the "Rose Liner". It is simple to use (but slow). For people unfamiliar with Japanese trains, or with awkward luggage, the bus is the best. Look for the Keisei ticket counter as you exit customs, it will be on the same floor. Buy a ticket to Katsuta (Chisun-Inn hotel) or Toukai. The cost will be 3,000 JPY per person. Then, head to the bus stop outside (Bus Stop 10 for Terminal 2, Bus stop 5 for Terminal 1) to catch the bus.

(The new Narita train line may also open up better connections between NRT and Tokyo.)
Hotel Information
Our recommendation is Chisun Inn Hitachinaka, 5,500JPY per night. Those who have not reserved the hotel yet, please let us know your requests (dates, smoking/non-smoking etc.) in your earliest convenience.

Katsuta Station is the nearest JR station to the hotel. For those who use the Rose-Liner bus please get off at "Katsuta station". From Katsuta JR station to Chisun Inn, we recommend to take a taxi. It takes ~10 min. and costs roughly 1,400 JPY.

(Important) How to join J-PARC open house tour (August 28th)
We will introduce you to the J-PARC open house (to visit LINAC, MR and neutrino primary beam-line) on Aug 28. Those who wish to join the tour, please pre-register through the registration page. (Participation is only for those who have signed up on the web page beforehand.)
On Aug. 28, please come to room 117, 1st floor of KEK Tokai-Ichi-Go-kan Bldg. (building north next to the IQBRC), by 12:30. We will do registration for the open house beforehand.
For those who will stay at Chisun Inn at the night of 8/27,
please wait for courtesy cars in front of the hotel at 11:00
For those who use JR train,
there will be shuttle buses from Tokai station to
IQBRC every 15 minutes for the open house visitors.
Please catch the bus to come to IQBRC.
On-Site Registration Desk
The registration desk will be opened as follows.
- On Aug.28th, 10:30~12:00 and 16:00~16:30(after the open-house tour) at Room 117, Tokai Ichi-Go-Kan 1F
- On Aug.29th, 08:30~ at Room A-204, IQBRC 2F(in front of the workshop room)
