J-PARC Tour
J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Complex) consists of 3 proton accelerators ( a proton linac, a rapid cycle synchrotron (RCS, 3GeV) and a 50 GeV (Max) synchrotron). J-PARC is located about 50 km north from Tsukuba.
The J-PARC tour is scheduled on Thursday afternoon. (We will leave KEK for J-PARC after lunch and come back to the hotels (via KEK) around 6 PM.)
In order to look around J-PARC facility, pre-registration is mandatory, for those who has non-Japanese nationality.
The deadline of the pre-registration to J-PARC tour is Oct.7 (Wednesday).
